Some colleges require a grade 9 pass while others are more stringent and require a grade 11 pass. Colleges can have different school grade entrance criteria so its important to check with the college where you intend to study.

What school subjects do I need to become an electrician?

Most colleges require maths, physical science and English. While English is not a stringent requirement, students will struggle to understand the concepts without the ability to read and write English. 

What school marks do I need to become an electrician?

Colleges can have different school subject entrance criteria so its important to check with the college where you intend to study. Some colleges require a maths mark of 40% or higher while others require a pass mark of 50% or higher.
