This is the first time I am selling a property, where do I start?

Contact us, we will setup an appointment & we will do a full electrical inspection, including a written quotation. (if required)

What is your call out fee?

Our fee is R 850.00 for a domestic installation inspection.

I have lived in my home for over 20 years, everything works, can you issue a certificate?

Electrical regulations & safety standards have changed; you might need to upgrade the system.

I have had a few other quotes, why is there such a price difference?

Is your electrician doing all that is required for a certificate? – See our electrical compliance costs and check list. Do not forget that the seller will still be responsible for an invalid certificate. If your buyer gets another electrician who finds valid faults, you will be liable for fixing the non compliant electrical issues.

How long is the certificate valid for?

2 years, unless changes on the electrical system have been made

Is your work guaranteed?

The Electrical Contractors Association of South Africa backs the skills and qualifications of its members as well as their capacity to deliver compliant work. In the event that a members work does not meet the statutory standard, clients can rely on a "Workmanship Guarantee". This guarantee funds any remedial work up to R20 000.

Where can I confirm that my electrician is qualified & registered?

Contact the DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR at Tel:(012) 309 4000 or at website www.labour.gov.za. It is advisable to use an electrician that is registered with the ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION https://ecasa.co.za

Do you supply electrical fencing certificates?

Yes, when we do the electrical we can include the fencing at a reduced rate
